Sounds on Second St.
Downtown Beaver Dam will once again come alive with music, food, fun, and community as the Sounds on 2nd free concert series returns for the 2026 season.
Presented in the heart of downtown Beaver Dam, Sounds on 2nd takes place on Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through September, offering residents and visitors an exciting lineup of live entertainment, local vendors, activities, food, and family-friendly fun.
Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early, explore downtown, shop local businesses, and enjoy a meal at one of Beaver Dam’s many restaurants before settling in for an evening of live music.
“Sounds on 2nd continues to be one of our community’s most anticipated annual traditions,” said Jeff Renfrow, Tourism Director for the Beaver Dam Tourism Commission. “We’re excited to welcome residents and visitors alike to downtown Beaver Dam on Friday nights throughout the summer. These concerts create opportunities for people to gather, enjoy great music, support local businesses, and experience the hospitality that makes Beaver Dam such a special place.”
Renfrow said the concert series plays an important role in Beaver Dam’s growing reputation as a regional entertainment and tourism destination.
“Over the past several years, Beaver Dam has become known throughout the region as a destination for live music and memorable experiences,” Renfrow said. “Sounds on 2nd is a big part of that story. These free concerts bring visitors into our community, introduce new people to our restaurants and businesses, and create another reason to spend time in Beaver Dam. Many weekends, visitors can enjoy a free concert downtown on Friday night and then attend a major concert at Beaver Dam Amphitheater, creating an entire entertainment weekend right here in Ohio County. That’s a win for our local businesses, our tourism industry, and everyone who calls Beaver Dam home.”
The 2026 Sounds on 2nd season features a diverse lineup of country, rock, classic hits, and family-friendly entertainment from some of the region’s most popular performers.
